Obstoon is an educational technology company building focused tools for learning and academic access.
Why Obstoon exists
Learning tools should be quiet, not loud.
Obstoon was created to hold focused products that do not overlap. One is for the spoken word: a language a learner has to say out loud before they can own it. One is for everything a student has to read, organise and return to. And one more is being planned: a system that tracks progress, certificates and study history.
Because the problems are different, the products are different. Neither is a suite, neither contains the other, and neither is a platform for features that were added to look complete.
The company name is the umbrella. The work is deliberately small enough to be finished properly.
One product, one job
Obstoon Speech speaks. Obstoon Library stores and finds. Neither tries to be the other.
Local by default
No accounts, no tracking. Speech keeps session history on the device; Library keeps favourites in the browser.
Honest availability
Documents report whether they are held locally, reachable in the cloud, or unavailable. Unbuilt features are labelled, never implied.
Built to be read
Clarity over cleverness: hierarchy, spacing and contrast do the work before any effect does.

Product 02 — Library
Obstoon Library
A digital academic library for Moroccan higher education. Courses, TPs, exams and professor material catalogued into subjects and semesters, with full-text search across the collection.
Approach
Premium means restraint.
Every design decision is measured against one question: does this help a learner or a reader, or is it only there to look finished?

Calm before clever
Depth and motion are used where they clarify structure, not as decoration. Restraint is what makes an interface feel considered.

Typography does the work
Hierarchy, measure and spacing carry the structure first. Type scale, line length and rhythm come before any visual effect.

Human, not gamified
No points, no streaks, no badges competing for attention. Progress is described in plain language instead.

Private by construction
No accounts and no tracking in either product. What a learner produces stays on the learner’s device.
