What is technically true today

The following describes how the storefront and the two products actually behave. It is factual background, not a policy, and it does not create obligations.

• This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• The dark or light theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key obstoon-theme and is never transmitted.
• No account can be created on this website, and no form is submitted anywhere on it.
• Obstoon Speech states that it has no accounts and no tracking, and that its only third-party service is the Gemini Live API, which carries the live audio session.
• Obstoon Speech stores session history on the device. No secrets, tokens or audio are stored with it.
• Obstoon Library stores favourites in the browser, and states that syncing them requires a user account which does not yet exist.

What is still missing

• The controller's identity, contact point and postal address.
• The categories of data processed, their purposes, legal bases and retention periods.
• Recipients of any data, including the Gemini Live API and the Google Drive bridge used by Obstoon Library.
• Enforcement, transfer and user-rights procedures.
